Prime Minister Minnis was speaking at a meeting with the Bahamas Chamber of Commerce and Employers Confederation (BCCEC) on Thursday 19 September about rebuilding the islands affected by Hurricane Dorian. Chamber CEO Jeffrey Beckles assured the Prime Minister of the Chamber’s commitment to work with the Government to rebuild the devastated areas of Abaco and Grand Bahama. Kenneth Hutton, President of the Abaco Chamber of Commerce informed the Prime Minister that close to 200 Abaco businessowners attended a meeting on Wednesday 18 September to discuss the rebuilding effort.
