The festival promotes the wealth of talent in The Bahamas

The Tru Tru Bahamian Festival is a celebration of “all things Bahamian”. The festival serves to highlight, promote and support the incredible wealth of talent that exists in the Bahamas, as artisans, artists, musicians, dancers gather to showcase every imaginable expression of creative talent possible.

The event will be held at the John Watling’s Distillery

At the behest of patrons and partners alike, the eagerly anticipated 3rd Annual Tru Tru Bahamian Festival will now be a two-day event, to be held on the beautiful grounds of the John Watling’s Distillery,Saturday, February 3rd and Sunday, February 4th 2018, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sat and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

An array of Bahamian made products will be available for purchase

Once again, the event will showcase the best of The Bahamas, delicious, authentically Bahamian food and drink; an incredible array of Bahamian made products will be available for purchase, just in time for Valentine’s Day! The Festival will feature an array of talented Bahamian musicians; The Royal Bahamas Police Force band will strut their stuff once again, there will be singing, dancing, storytelling, Maypole Plaiting, a Junkanoo Rush Out, a “Pop-Up” Junkanoo Shack, a kids interactive corner with an “Ocean Creatures Touch Tank” and a plethora of indigenous creatures; Bahamian Flora and Fauna, for kids to learn about.
