BBSQ National Forum InviteThe Chairman and the Standards Council of The Bahamas Bureau of Standards and Quality (BBSQ), in conjunction with the 11th European Development Fund (EDF) Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) and CARICOM Single Market Economy (CSME) Standby Facility for Capacity Building, respectfully request your participation at the upcoming 2023 Bahamas National Quality Policy Re-engagement Forum, to be held Wednesday, 7th June at the Superclub Breezes Hotel, Nassau, The Bahamas, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. The theme will be “Strengthening the National Quality Infrastructure through Enhanced Standards and Metrology Services”.

The forum will bring together our industry leaders, economic and legislative stakeholders and our regional and international partners. Attendees will receive updates on the latest developments regarding the establishment of the new Industrial Metrology Laboratory, made possible by the 11th EDF EPA CSME Standby Facility Project, including the details of the marketing and technical components of the project. Following the welcome ceremony and plenary session, breakout sessions will follow, allowing for critical discussion among key groups of stakeholders concerning the development of new standards and the inception of new mass metrology services.
