WTO members review three regional trade agreements

WTO members reviewed three Regional Trade Agreements (RTAs) at a meeting on 29 June as part of their efforts to increase understanding of how these RTAs relate to WTO rules and impact members as well as the multilateral trade agenda. Members considered the Korea-Viet Nam Free Trade Agreement, the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area between the European Union and Ukraine, and the Georgia-Russia Free Trade Agreement at the meeting of the Committee on Regional Trade Agreements (CRTA). They also discussed the issue of notifications of RTAs.
