Prime Minister Drew continues face-to-face engagements with CARICOM Heads of Government

(Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Secretariat, Turkeyen, Greater Georgetown, Guyana) – Chair of CARICOM, Hon. Dr. Terrance Drew, Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis continued his outreach to the Community on Wednesday 11 February, when he met with Prime Minister of Grenada, Hon. Dickon Mitchell in St. George’s and the Hon. Roosevelt Skerrit, Prime Minister of Dominica in Roseau.

Speaking on the engagements Prime Minister Drew said, “these engagements are important to me. They allow us to speak candidly, align our priorities and ensure that as we approach the 50th Regular Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government in St Kitts and Nevis, we are united in purpose and focused on delivering meaningful outcomes for our Caribbean people.”

Since assuming office as Chair, Prime Minister Drew has had face to face engagements with the Prime Minister of St Vincent and the Grenadines, Dr the Hon. Godwin Friday; Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda, Hon. Gaston Browne; Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, Hon. Kamla Persad-Bissessar; Prime Minister of Dominica, Hon. Roosevelt Skerrit and the Hon. Dickon Mitchell, Prime Minister of Grenada.

The 50th Regular Meeting of CARICOM Heads of Government is scheduled for 24-27 February.
