WASHINGTON, January 30, 2020 – The World Bank’s Board of Executive Directors today approved the following project: PERU – Lima Metropolitano BRT North Extension ProjectIBRD Credit: US $93 million equivalentTerms: Maturity = 11 years, Grace = 3 yearsProject ID: P170595Project Description: The project will finance the extension of the Metropolitano BRT in North Lima aiming at improving urban mobility and accessibility to jobs, especially for low-income residents in this area. It will also include the improvement of operational efficiency, quality of service and personal security for low-income users, women and people with disabilities.
