Members consider requests for panels on Chinese farm quotas, Canadian aircraft subsidies

The United States and Brazil, respectively, requested the establishment of dispute panels to examine China’s administration of its tariff rate quotas (TRQs) for certain agricultural goods and support provided by Canada to the Canadian aircraft manufacturer Bombardier. Members once again were unable to reach consensus on the launch of the selection process for the appointment of new Appellate Body members.
