About The Fair:

China Import and Export Fair, also known as the Canton Fair, was established in the spring of 1957. Co-hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of PRC and the People's Government of Guangdong Province and organized by China Foreign Trade Centre, it is held every spring and autumn in Guangzhou, China. The Canton Fair is a comprehensive international trading event with the longest history, the largest scale, the most complete exhibit variety, the largest buyer attendance, the most diverse buyer origin and the greatest business turnover in China. It is hailed as China’s No.1 Fair and the barometer of China’s foreign trade.

The schedule of the onsite exhibition of the 135th Canton Fair:

  • Phase 1: April 15-19, 2024;
  • Phase 2: April 23-27, 2024;
  • Phase 3: May 1-May 5, 2024;
  • The intervals: April 20-22 and April 28-30, 2024.

The online platform will be open for half a year: March 16-September 15, 2024.

Launch of 2024 China Human Resource Multilateral Training Program

The Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Commonwealth of The Bahamas is happy to announce the commencement of the seminars for the 2024 China Human Resource Multilateral Training Program during March and April of 2024.

These short-term seminars are going to be conducted in China and will cover a broad spectrum of subjects including economy, trade, climate change, and more. If you would like to attend, the Ministry is kindly requested to recommend 1-3 candidates for interested seminars by filling out the forms below and submit along with:

  • A scanned copy of your passport information page (first 2 pages)
  • Information form of the participant (Annex 2)
  • Foreigner physical examination forms issued by your local hospital (Annex 3)

The information should be submitted no less than 25 days before the seminar starts. It’s also worth noting that priority will be given to persons who have attended previous online seminars as these seminars are in short supply.
