DG Azevêdo: Sweden is an important champion of multilateralism

Director-General Roberto Azevêdo praised Sweden’s global leadership during his visit to Stockholm on 23-24 March 2017, where he discussed the WTO’s future work with high-level government officials and private sector representatives. During his visit, the Director-General met with King Carl XVI Gustaf, Prime Minister Stefan Löfven, Deputy Prime Minister Isabella Lövin and Minister for EU Affairs and Trade Ann Linde.
