DDG Agah: “Encouraging progress in cotton negotiations made but more to be done”

Speaking at the fifth ministerial coordination meeting of the Cotton 4 (C-4) countries on 18-21 April 2017 in Cotonou, Bénin, WTO Deputy Director-General Yonov Fred Agah praised the C-4 for bringing cotton to the forefront of WTO negotiations over recent years. He called on WTO members to intensify the work to help poorer countries use cotton to foster growth and raise living standards.
