Concerns grow about slippage in subsidy notifications

The chair of the WTO’s Committee on Subsidies and Countervailing Measures (SCM Committee) once again expressed concerns about the “discouraging” record of WTO members in meeting their obligations to notify government subsidies to the WTO on an annual basis. The chair, Mr Jin-dong Kim of Korea, made his statement at a 25 April meeting of the SCM Committee.
