Agriculture negotiations chair urges members to submit inputs for possible MC14 outcomes

At a meeting of the Committee on Agriculture in Special Session on 21 November, many members stressed that agriculture and food security are critical priorities that must be addressed at the 14th WTO Ministerial Conference (MC14) in March 2026. Several members provided updates on their efforts to contribute to a positive outcome. Ambassador Ali Sarfraz Hussain (Pakistan), the Chair of the agriculture negotiations, welcomed the ideas emerging from these discussions and urged members to develop them into formal submissions quickly.
