New IICA DG pays courtesy call on CARICOM Secretary-General

The new Director General for the Inter American Institute for Cooperation in Agriculture (IICA), Dr. Muhammad Ibrahim, paid a courtesy call on the Secretary General of the Caribbean Community, Dr. Carla Barnett at the Secretariat in Georgetown on 9 June.

In these discussions, they reaffirmed the strong relationship between CARICOM and IICA and the continued support of IICA for the agriculture sector in CARICOM. They also confirmed the strengthening of future collaboration in agriculture.
