Does cultivated coffee have a future?

As traditional coffee production is threatened by climate change, could cultivated coffee be the answer? While it has been in development for a number of years, cultivated coffee is not yet on the market and hasn't seen the same interest from food giants that cultivated cocoa has. Yet some predict significant potential for it, citing sustainability concerns as a key driver. Barriers, such as regulation, cost, and consumer awareness, remain.
