CARICOM Chair to meet with Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago

The Honourable Dr Terrance Drew, Chair of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), will make an official visit to Trinidad and Tobago this week to meet with the Prime Minister, the Honourable Kamla Persad- Bissessar and members of her team.

The Chair will be accompanied by CARICOM Secretary-General, Dr Carla Barnett.

The meeting is part of the Chair’s focus on face-to-face discussions with regional leaders. The Chair and Secretary-General met with the new Prime Minister of St Vincent and the Grenadines, Dr the Honourable Godwin Friday, in Kingstown last week.
