DG Okonjo-Iweala stresses importance of youth engagement in meeting with Young Trade Leaders

The latest cohort of WTO Young Trade Leaders met with Director-General Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala on 17 September ahead of their participation in a panel discussion at this year’s Public Forum. At the meeting, the Director-General emphasized the importance of decision-makers listening to the voices of young people and encouraged the group to come up with creative, actionable ideas to help address the challenges facing world trade.
