China-Latin America and the Caribbean International Exposition 2017

The CLAC-Expo is being hosted by the China Chamber of International Commerce

The 2017 China-Latin America and the Caribbean International Exposition (CLAC Expo) will be held from 9-11 November 2017 in Zhuhai, Guangdong, China. 

China’s premier trading event for Latin American and Caribbean countries

The CLAC-Expo, hosted by the China Chamber of International Commerce,  will be held at the Zhuhai International Convention & Exhibition Center in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province, China. The total exhibition area of the Expo is 30,000 square meters and is expected to attract 300-500 domestic and foreign exhibitors, including Latin American national and regional enterprises, and Hong Kong, Macao and domestic enterprises.

The CLAC Expo is a platform for cross-border cooperation

The purpose of the Exposition is to enhance economic and trade cooperation between China and Latin American and Caribbean countries. By promoting cross-border cooperation, CLAC will provide an economy and trade platform to build friendly contacts between China and Latin American enterprises, a communication platform to expand the Maritime Silk Road to Latin America, a development platform to help promote the deep economic integration of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, and a powerful platform to implement the experimental role of the Guangdong Pilot Free Trade Zone.

Forums and cultural activities will also take place

In addition to hosting the CLAC Expo, the China Chamber of International Commerce will organize three forums:

• The China-LAC Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum
• The China-LAC Service Trade and Outsourcing Cooperation Forum
• The Congress of Chinese Members of Dialogue with Latin American & China-LAC Entrepreneurs Council

Cultural and sporting activities such as the International Latin Dance Competition and the Latin American Football Competition will also be held.

Invitations are extended to Chinese and foreign leaders, ministerial officials, ambassadors of the relevant countries to China, representatives of international regional organizations, representatives of state-level business associations and representatives of large enterprises from China and abroad.
