The Consumer Protection Commission (CPC), wishes to advise that parliament has passed a new enhanced Consumer Protection Act 2023 (gazetted on November 4th, 2023). In an effort to support Providers in meeting the new Consumer Protection Act 2023 compliance obligations, the CPC is hosting a free Providers Educational Forum under the theme “Dissecting The New Consumer Protection Act, 2023.”

As key stakeholders in the marketplace, CPC is extending an invitation to all providers of goods and services in the Commonwealth of The Bahamas to attend. The event is tentatively scheduled to take place on February 22nd, 2024 at the Baha Mar Resort from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm.
