Chinese Language Learning and Calligraphy Sip & Paint

This event will be used to expose the Bahamian public to the basics of the Chinese language (Spoken and Calligraphy), cultural norms, and basic etiquette. It is an official fundraising event for the Bahamas China Friendship Association (BCFA) and tickets are $50.00.

The Sip & Paint event will take place Thursday July 20, 2023 from 6:30 pm to 10:00 pm at the Ballroom, Margaritaville Resort.

Participants will be exposed to the basics of Chinese language, and will have the opportunity to write their names and basic words and Bahamian phrases using Chinese traditional Characters. Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to sample Chinese Wines and liquor.

Hors d’oeuvres will be served via Butler Pass. There will also be a complementary bar offering Chinese wine and liquor and a cash bar offering liquor, wine, soft drinks, and water.

Entertainment will be provided by The Jazz Cats (Adria DAguilar’s band) and a young up-and-coming Bahamian artist will offer live painting.
