The delegation includes organizations specializing in information technology, education and training and consulting engineering.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/econext.ca\/atlantic-canada-trade-mission-to-the-bahamas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CLICK HERE<\/a> to view brief profiles of participating organizations.<\/p>\n<h3>Trade missions offer participants unique opportunities and benefits<\/h3>\n<p>Trade missions, whether inbound or outbound, generally take place within a one week period and participants learn about doing business in the host market and gain exposure to the social and business cultures of the host country. They offer unique opportunities and benefits to participants such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>access to economic and government decision-makers<\/li>\n<li>networking opportunities with the local business community<\/li>\n<li>business-to-business meetings with potential partners<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Bahamian organizations wishing to meet with Trade Mission delegates are kindly asked to contact the Trade Mission Coordinator, Ms. Amber Mackereth (<a href=\"mailto:ambermackereth@gmail.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ambermackereth@gmail.com<\/a>) or the Trade Mission\u2019s local point of contact, Mr. Edison Sumner (<a href=\"mailto:edison@sumnerstrategicpartners.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">edison@sumnerstrategicpartners.com<\/a>\u00a0or 242 801-1044) to make arrangements.<\/p>\n<h3>About Atlantic Canada<\/h3>\n<p>Atlantic Canada, also called the Atlantic provinces, is the region of Eastern Canada comprising the provinces located on the Atlantic coast, excluding Quebec. The four provinces are New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island. As of 2021, the landmass of the four Atlantic provinces was approximately 488,000 km<sup>2<\/sup>, and had a population of over 2.4 million people.
