Delta is planning its return to Marsh Harbour, Abaco this summer after an almost three-year hiatus, according to an article on\u00a0the airline news website simpleflying.com.<\/p>\n
The airline dropped the route after Hurricane Dorian devastated the island in 2019 and hasn\u2019t returned since completing humanitarian flights to the island.<\/p>\n
According to simpleflying.com,\u00a0Delta also stopped servicing Grand Bahama\u00a0at that time and no plans are mentioned for a return to that island.<\/p>\n
\u201cOver the weekend, Delta Air Lines loaded into the schedule its return to Marsh Harbour\u2019s Leonard Thompson Airport (MHH), according to data from Cirium,\u201d the article states.<\/p>\n
\u201cFlights will start on June 6 and operate five times per week. No flights will operate on Wednesdays and Fridays. Delta will decrease flights to three weekly operations in September and October before bringing them back to five weekly operations from November.\u201d<\/p>\n
The site explained that the flights will run round-trip from Delta\u2019s hub at\u00a0Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL).<\/p>\n
\u201cFlights will run on CRJ700 regional aircraft. The planes scheduled to operate flights to MHH will seat 69 passengers with room for nine in recliner-style first class, 16 in extra-legroom economy and 44 in standard economy,\u201d the article states.<\/p>\n
Simpleflying.com also explained that Delta will offer daily flights to North Eleuthera Airport from ATL in May, which will eventually be tapered down to six flights per week in June, moving to five flights in July.<\/p>\n

It added that Delta will also operate daily flights to Exuma in May, eventually stepping the frequency down to five flights in June, July and August. The 76-passenger CRJ900 will also be used to service Exuma.<\/p>\n
