Being a woman entrepreneur (especially in the start-up phase) can mean long hours, late nights, and nobody to talk to! Add on your responsibilities as wife, mother, daughter, sister, or any other role\u2026and you can end up one stressed out momma!<\/strong><\/p>\n

It\u2019s funny because most people smile with admiration when they learn that you\u2019re a business owner, yet most people rarely understand what that means. You\u2019re usually pegged as ambitious, motivated and determined\u2026but, people can\u2019t quite comprehend what life is like for\u00a0The Woman\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>Behind The\u00a0<\/em>Business<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Yes, you\u2019re ambitious, because you want more for yourself. You\u2019re motivated, because you believe in yourself\u2026.and the determination, well that\u2019s easy\u2026you set out to establish a legacy for yourself and your family\u2026so, failure is just not an option. These are all great character traits that reflect most women entrepreneurs but, they don\u2019t get to the heart of who \u201cshe\u201dis.\u00a0 Who \u201cI\u201d am.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s part of the reason why I launched the women\u2019s entrepreneurial group\u00a0The Woman Behind The Business<\/em>\u2122<\/strong>(WBB)<\/em>. The goal of our group is to support entrepreneurial growth and sustainability in women-owned businesses. We accomplish this by creating a sacred space for women to be honest about the challenges they face as women entrepreneurs & CEO\u2019s.<\/p>\n

Personally, I had a very small pool of people (like one person) that I could talk to about what was actually manifesting in my life. Then I realized their had to be other women like\u00a0 me, seeking \u00a0someone \u00a0to\u00a0\u00a0 confide \u00a0in,\u00a0\u00a0 while \u00a0also \u00a0providing her testimony to encourage and uplift her fellow women in business.<\/p>\n

So, I\u2019m inviting you, my fellow women business owners, to join me for our first annual\u00a0The Woman Behind The Business\u00a0<\/strong>Retreat\u00a0<\/em>in Nassau, Bahamas, September 8 -12th!<\/p>\n
